2007 Tuscano Charity Committee Donation
Community – Monday, April 9, 2007
Throughout the year, the Tuscano Charity Committee raises money to give to families in need in our community. This March, a family in need came to our attention when their house burned down and all was lost. The family, consisting of a grandfather, grandmother and granddaughter, escaped unharmed. To help them recover from this, employees immediately and generously donated clothing and raised money through individual employee donations, a 50/50 ticket sale and a community day partnership with Hoss’s Steak and Sea House restaurant. The grand daughter was most excited about getting a new pair of pajamas! The donations were given to the family within two weeks of the fire, a time when it was needed most.
